How to patch up a hole in TIG
Просмотров 4632 месяца назад
This is from my class lecture on how to repair a hole in a TIG project. Coming from the thin gauge stainless steel world, we tended to use fusion welding as the main process, not go for filler every time. But, when there is a hole, you have no option but to use filler. Please know that the #1 rule in TIG welding is patience. It took about 11 minutes to fill a hole about 3/16" or so in diameter.

Fractions Math Video
Просмотров 314 месяца назад
This video is directed to my students on understanding how to do math with fractions. My approach is not "math style", but more "user end" style, as in a shop user of math, not mathematician user of math. I do also include "mistakes" in the video because this is how I teach, working to make students think with me instead of "droning" thru a lecture. I am posting it for anyone to look at as it m...

Thank you so much for explaining this. I’m needing to build some bed side rails for a headboard and footboard. The headboard and footboard already has pre-drilled holes, for a hidden threaded rod that fastens the entire bed together. Im wanting to follow the same pattern so that once the side rails are on, it doesn’t look like I rigged something up just to make it work. This was so helpful and very informative. 👍🏻👍🏻
Another historical reminder of the stupidity of Covivid
This is an excellent thorough explanation of the welding symbol basics. Very clear.
Good video. The threads on my Weldtec torch don't allow me to jam the sheath in them like that... Sadly.
I'm at the end of my Welding Technology certification at trade school and Printreading for Welders is the textbook we've been given for the blueprint reading portion. It's tough because we aren't given any lectures or presentations, exercises etc. We are just given the book, a login id for the online tests, and a computer. I just found this video and subscribed. Thank you!!
Can someone tell me which wrench to use
Thanks! I’m swapping my grinding wheel for a wire wheel and this really helped.
does this project have a research paper if it has one can you send me the link for it
c'mon, get to the part where you install the guard!
This is nonsense. Change the title. You could have started the project from scratch in autocad, it would have been even faster. What people want is to import the STL 3D file into solidworks and from there into autocad. STL files from thingverse won't open in autocad.
L'importante è che ti sia sierata, almeno ti togli dalle palle alla svelta...
Hello everyone, aside from this video, would anyone know of a good book that I can purchase to learn how to read blueprints? I’m as rookie as they come. I’ve been searching Amazon and Google but I have not come across someone in the field that can point me towards the right direction. Thank you.
Great video got it to work
This was so helpful thank you

Did you record this sitting in the cargo space of an airplane?
Can’t hear you at full volume. Re record this and take off that silly mask. Which don’t even work. Please talk louder too!
Thank you for explaining!!!!! This was the only video that worked for me!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Very helpful, please do more SW Vids.
Terrible. She should have done her research before putting this out for world to see. Bad terminology, not even knowing how to use tools or any crucial steps of the process. My 8 year old can do what she did. I really hope she’s not a teacher. Sorry, but for something so common I don’t see how she missed so many marks. FFS
Awesome thanks ... I have a better perspective
remove that stupid mask
Easy to understand
Why are you wearing a welding helmet?
lmao
😍Very very good job madam👍👌
Beautiful
Haha...killin' me. Nothing drives me crazier than when I run into a job, and do not have the tool. I was doing this today, and none of my sockets were big enough. EVERY time that happens, I find a work around to get the job done, and then within a day, buy the right toolk so I never have to work around it again. At 53, after a lifetime of this policy, I RARELY run into a situation where I do not have the tool. But today I did, so I worked around it with a crescent wrench. Which lead me here...just trying to find out size that nut is. ...and you whip out a crescent wrench. As I began...killin' me!
Way easier if you put the saw in the vertical position. Duh
the parts in the tree on the left are all black. i am not able to make it blue. is there any way to make it blue and editable? as they are all appearing black i cannot edit them
get it
❤ 😂 "this is a very expensive item and I'm a very cheap teacher" 😂😂
Please redo the audio. It's too loud. Thanks.
Would the right side nut come off normally being counter clockwise?
The nuts on each end turn opposite to each other, like faucet handles.
Mine did
TY
Wow, dumb, no ring test, dressing, truing, doesn’t know one end of a tool from the other, laughable
What may have taken me 10 minutes or so, literally took me under two minutes because of this video… Thank you very much!
YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND THANK YOU
Please stop waving the damn thing around so we can see what you're talking about. You look like magician trying to distract the audience. Other than that, you're annoying....
great video very simple and informative. thanks
is this new yoke?
Wow... I've never had a wheel just pop on and not wobble. Lol. Probably should've added in how to mount the wheel so it doesn't have any wobble.
Take the damn mask off people
Righty tighty....? Really? It's clockwise/counterclockwise. For the digital generation, you pull out an old clock to teach them what it means. Geesh!
You didn't Cap it before moving!
It’s called a reverse thread
Thank you! I figured their HAD to be a way to do this. It’s such a pain to have to jostle between several parts and writing dimensions in order to build another part that connects to both.
Were you on a airliner…
Thank you for video
I don't think she knows a lot about what's she's doing she didn't check allot of things
